THANK YOU - HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY
It is hard to believe we have come to the end of another year. It has been wonderful to observe student growth over the course of the year and witness the many different activities that students are involved in to develop as balanced learners.
Our children are actively involved in the school community, they support each other and they take action to make the world a better place. We are very proud of their achievements and value their efforts to continually improve. I would like to thank all families for their support over the year.
I would also like to thank our very dedicated school staff who make learning engaging and work so hard to support all students.
On behalf of the school staff I would like to once again thank everyone for contributing towards a very successful school year full of great memories.
We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday.
CELEBRATION NIGHT
It was really lovely to be joined by so many families last Tuesday evening for our annual Celebration Night concert. Beautiful singing by all of our students created a lovely atmosphere further enhanced by families joining in for a community song.

Public School Music Festival 2019
Choir:
The festival of music is a fantastic opportunity for students to share their passion for singing and music with others. They learn a set repertoire of around 10 songs, rehearse weekly during school time with a professional accompanist. The choir will join choirs from other surrounding schools in occasional rehearsal and later in the year, join with around 500 students from across the state to rehearse and perform at the Festival Theatre.
There are opportunities for singing solos and choreography leaders.
First week back in 2019, students from years 5-7 are invited to an open rehearsal and workshop for the Festival of music choir in the music room. In week 2, students will begin formal rehearsals in preparation for the first cluster rehearsal in week 4 of term 1.
Troupe:
For those who are interested in drama and dance and are in year 6 or 7 in 2019, you are invited to register your interest in being involved in the Troupe for the Festival of Music.
The troupe feature drama and dance items within the Festival of Music concerts. This will involve out of school hour rehearsals and concerts during the Festival Week (week 8 and 9 of term 3). If you are keen, please email me with your contact details and I will register for you online. You will receive an audition time and place early next year.
Auditions occur Week 4, term 1, 2019.
