SPORTS DAY
This year sports day will take place on Friday 1st April.
8:50 The school day will commence.
9:10 All students gather on the oval in house teams.
9:30 Tabloid Events
1:00 Whole School Championship Events
2:10 Finish
3:10 End of the school day, students will be dismissed from their classroooms.
CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS
The R – 7 Team Relay, Sprints Championships and Year 6/7 Tug of War teams have been selected from classes with the view to involving as many students as possible.
During the afternoon events, all students will need to remain in their allocated house team area, supervised by teachers. All parents and visitors must remain outside the designated cordoned-off areas.
COVID 19
This year parents and caregivers are invited to join us for Sports Day, following the conditions below:
- Visitors must remain at least 1.5m from the class and staff during tabloids,
- Visitors must not attend if unwell, and masks are preferred for those attending.
- Visitors will not be permitted to enter buildings, gym or the hall.
- During the sprint and championship events all visitors must view events from outside the cordoned off area.
This is subject to change at any stage.
FOOD ARRANGEMENTS
Prepaid sausage orders (QKR/Form) will be sent to classes for lunch collection. (eMail went out Tuesday)
Regular over the counter items will be available from canteen at recess time. The canteen will be closed at lunch time. No lunch orders available, pre ordered sausages only.
There will also be a coffee van.
PARKING
Frank Smith Park will be available for parking throughout the day.
HELPING OUT
This year, due to Covid-19, we are asking parents not to support with events. Assistance with packing up and cleaning up at the end of the day will be gratefully accepted.
