As we entered, I could smell something delicious cooking but my eyes were drawn straight away to the lolly store. I stepped towards the lolly store and then remembered our teachers saying we needed to stick together so I joined back in with my group. The lolly store would have to wait.

On the 8th of November the year 5 classes went to the Central Markets in Victoria Square, we went as part of our business unit to find out how marketing is used in everyday shops. We started collecting data very fast as there was a vast variety of shops in the Central Markets. We explored colour theories to see which were the most intriguing and most appealing to attract customers. We also compared the products and the prices between the shops.

We are going to use this information to start up our own business at school selling craft and food items. Any profit we make will be donated to charity.
