FRUIT FLY OUTBREAK
The Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) has recently advised that much of metropolitan Adelaide and some areas of the Riverland are in fruit fly outbreak or suspension areas.
The latest information from PIRSA is that you should be noticing the origin of your fruit even if you are not in an exclusion zone. Did you purchase it from an infected area? If so consume your fruit at home or dispose of the fruit safely (in a sealed plastic bag) do not add it to lunch boxes. So if in doubt leave it out!
More information is available by contacting
PIRSA on 1300666010 or
Coromandel Valley Primary School is outside of the suspension area however please read the attached brochure and refer to the PIRSA site for more information.
