WELCOME BACK

Welcome back to the 2022 school year. We hope you enjoyed the holiday break.

The start of this year has been quite different with the staggered return to school. We would like to thank the students, staff and families for their support and commitment to ensure a smooth transition with face-to-face learning for our Receptions and Year 1s, and home learning for our Year 2-6 students.

It was great to see our very eager brand new receptions enjoying school on their first day. We welcome all new families to our school community and look forward to sharing exciting learning opportunities throughout the year.

We have started 2022 with 463 students in 18 classes, with 3 new reception classes. A very special welcome to our 61 new reception students;

We are very much looking forward to Monday 14th February when we welcome all students onsite.
Guidelines and expectations are still evolving but we can now welcome parents back on site to drop children off and pick them up. We continue to ask that you minimise your time on site and avoid entering classroom spaces where possible to help support ongoing distancing requirements.
Something that we noticed from the past couple of years was that there was an improvement in independence and resilience of students as they took themselves to class. To support contact tracing purposes there will be QR codes placed at various entry points to the school and we ask that you scan these when entering the site. If entering the administration building there is a limit of 2 adults at a time. We'd like to  remind parents to keep your child at home if they are feeling unwell or present with any COVID related symptoms.
