BOOK WEEK AT CORO…
What an amazing week we had celebrating BOOKS!!! Many students participated in daily lunch time activities that incorporated curious creatures into biscuit decorating, moveable creatures, colouring in, bookmarks and cut and stick creatures.
Our school competitions involved creating curious creatures along with super sleuthing to discover book characters in silhouettes, letters and cartoon form. Many entries were placed in the box, as students researched possibilities through looking in books and asking peers, teachers and parents.
Many curious creatures now fill our library, thanks to the creations that were made by students across the school. Here are some of them for you to see.

We finished the week with an entertaining parade and celebration! Students and teachers enjoyed dressing up as story characters and showing their creativity! Grandparent songs were sung, our instrumental students wowed us with their skills, the choir sang, jump rope jumped and the band finished with a blast. What a great Book Week 2020!
