On Wednesday 23^rd September the Festival choir travelled via coach to Marion Event Cinemas to take part in the 2020 ‘Let’s Sing’ event for the Public Schools Music Festival. While we were of course all a little disappointed that there was no performance at Festival Theatre this year due to Covid, we really enjoyed joining in a sing-along to all of the songs we have learnt with the festival this year to a movie which was made especially by the Festival of Music. We were excited and surprised to see some of our faces up on the big screen acting in ‘I’m a train’ and enjoyed seeing Erin playing vioin in the festival orchestra. A lot of fun was had by all and joyful voices filled the cinema.

The Festival choir looks forward to more performances next term where we will be able to share more of our

2020 repertoire with our coro community, friends and parents. Big thankyou to Mrs O’connell and Megan for accompanying us for the day.
