This week our Year 7 boys played three rounds of knockout netball in the one day at Flagstaff Hill PS. It was an entertaining and enjoyable day of sport.

Being our first time entering the boys’ netball competition, we really weren’t sure what to expect. The boys have been training very hard in PE lessons as well as during lunch breaks and I’m happy to report that all of the hard work has paid off. We won all three of our games by big margins, beating Craigburn 23 – 7, Flagstaff Hill 34 – 9 and Nativity 52 – 2.

A big ‘thank you’ to Miss Bullitis, who has been assisting me with the coaching. Thanks also to Shakaya for umpiring and the parents who came out to support the team and help with the scoring, timing and transporting.

We now look forward to the next round of matches in a couple of weeks.
