Last Friday Jenny Tucker and some students from Mrs Trengove’s and Ms Morgan’s class (1TM) got to spend some time helping in the garden. Bunnings were kind enough to donate some seedlings. The students loved the experience and were very keen to do it all again soon. Here are just a few comments:

Ollie said “I loved working in the garden because it’s all fun. We planted seeds; my favourite part was watering them”.

George said he felt happy gardening, he said “It was so much fun, digging and finding bugs was my favourite part”.

Patrik liked planting the vegetables and watering them.

Willow, Arya and Anderson from 1TM also had fun gardening with their classmates. Overall, all the students loved the experience and were keen to do it all again.

Donation from Bunnings Edwardstown

 Bunnings Edwardstown have kindly donated vegetable seedlings, flowers, herbs, a new retractable hose reel, Seasol and peastraw to our school vegetable garden.  The year 6/7 Kitchen-Garden Student Action Group and students from 1TM have been busy weeding, planting, mulching and watering. 

 Thank you Kim for donating all the plants and vegetables to our school. We are very thankful and will have lots of fun planting them and seeing them grow.
