BACK TO BUSINESS

Dear Families,

jessicaclarkProofs0978small

We have really enjoyed having all students back at school and the opportunity to conduct teaching and learning experiences in many ways, including lots of student collaboration. School sports opportunities are gradually opening up and the school community is getting back into full swing. We would like to remind parents that access to classrooms is still for students and staff only. Please communicate with us via email or phone call where possible.

The celebration and acknowledgment of Reconciliation has seen some magnificent understanding unfold in the school. Congratulations to Kylie Gardner who not only supports our ATSI students but has provided great resources and inspiration for staff and students.

KISS AND DROP

With all students back at school and additional families using Kiss and Drop we would appreciate families adhering to guidelines. Please remain in your car and use the painted rectangles to guide where you wait. There is a central lane that can be used to exit the Kiss and Drop area. Please watch for students who are using the crossing. Kiss and Drop works efficiently when all families use the area thoughtfully.

TRAFFIC CROSSING

Thank you for your patience whilst Mitcham Council have been working on our traffic crossing. Main road can get quite busy and we appreciate how important it is to have safe pathways and crossings for our community.

STUDENT ILLNESS

Parents are reminded to keep students at home if they are unwell. In the event that your child requires medication (short term), where possible please administer at home. If three doses are required consider one in the morning, one straight after school, and then one in the evening rather than sending medication to school. Any medication must be labelled and include administration instructions from a GP.

2021 ENROLMENTS

We have had a lot of inquiries about enrolling at our school and appreciate the response from existing families in enrolling children for 2021.  To support us with this process we are asking families who have a child starting school in 2021, or know of a family who lives in the community with a child starting in 2021, to enrol their child by the end of term 2. We are conducting tours for families remaining outside of classrooms. Please call the school if you would like to organise a tour.

Enrolment forms are available on our website or from the front office.
