On Tuesday of Week 3, both Year 3 classes had the priviliege of visiting Monarto Zoo, to learn more about our current Unit of Inquiry ‘All Things Change’. This Unit of work is an inquiry into: All living things are connected to others in their natural environment and go through a process of change. We are exploring concepts surrounding living things, lifecycles and natural environments.

The highlight of the day was the ‘Full Safari Tour’ which saw our bus driver cleverly navigate us around the massive park with our tour guide, Peter. He was very knowledgeable about the animals that we saw and he even taught us some chants to entertain us.

We started the day with recess in the sunshine before our informative bus tour. We then returned for lunch and a visit to the gift shop. We also said hello to the cute Meerkats before returning to the bus for the long ride back to school. Thank you to all our parents who came along in support.
