WORLD TEACHERS' DAY
World Teachers’ Day (celebrated globally since 1994) fell on 5th October; however, because this date falls during the holidays in Australia, we celebrate this important day on the final Friday of October. This year, it will be 31st October (Friday week 3).

At Coro, we believe that a very important piece of the collaboration puzzle lies with the interactions between teachers and families. So, this World Teachers’ Day, why not let that special teacher know what they mean to you and your child?
The most meaningful gift for a teacher often comes in the form of a card, letter, or hand-written note. We encourage all families to have a conversation with your children - ask them which teachers have had a big impact on them, and why. And don’t forget to tell them about your own positive experiences with teachers in your life! These stories stay with us, and shape us, and should be shared, especially with the teachers who work with, or have worked with your children.
