GRANDPARENTS & SPECIAL PERSONS DAY
other extended family, family friends, to name just a few. We would like to extend a warm invitation to all the special people in our students’ lives, for an afternoon of music, fun and celebration on Tuesday 12th August (Week 4).
12:50 – 1:30pm
The afternoon will kick off with some busking. All students who learn an instrument at Coro will have an opportunity to perform in a location around the school, as directed by their instrumental teachers. Visitors will be able to wander around and listen to a wide variety of musical stylings, and offer a coin or two for the hats out the front of each performer or group. All money raised will be donated to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
1:40pm-2:45pm
The busking will be followed up by a magnificent concert, in the gym, with the following performances:
-
-
- JUNIOR CHOIR
- INSTRUMENTAL SOLOISTS
- SENIOR CHOIR
- RECORDER ENSEMBLE
- STRINGS TRIO
- JUMP ROPE
- JUNIOR PRIMARY SINGING
-
During the concert, we would like to prioritise seating for our older visitors.
We hope to see many special visitors on Tuesday 12th August!
Frank Smith Reserve will be open for parking.
