All students from R-6 were involved in an incursion, run by Trent Hill.  Trent is a Noongar man from Western Australia and a wonderful educator.

Students enjoyed listening his to cultural knowledge, when he shared his dreaming story sessions or his artefact sessions with each class.  These sessions connected with in class units of inquiry and science units of inquiry.  This encouraged students to be reflective as they responded to their existing knowledge or primed them ready for the next unit of inquiry.
