On Monday 12^th August, we were lucky enough to have the Primary Schools String Orchestra come and perform to our students. They were serenaded by classical music including music from ‘The Nutcracker’, ‘Peter and the Wolf’ and ‘Swan Lake’. Some of our students enjoyed participating in drama and dance roles and everyone enjoyed listening to the beautiful music. As junior primary and middle school students have been learning about instruments of the orchestra and storytelling through music, this was a fantastic link to their learning and meaningful connections were being made.
