Youth Environmental Leadership Program Excursion to Glenthorne National Park

What a wonderful day of learning, in the sunshine!

Nine of the ten 2024 Youth Environmental Leaders attended the event hosted by Green Adelaide.

The students participated in a nature wander and watercolour paint with Nature Play SA and assisted in planting 855 plants with Greening Australia and the Friends of Glenthorne Group.

We also recorded some messages for Jane Goodall, to share at her 2024 visit to Adelaide.  This video aims to provide Dr Goodall a very succinct snapshot of our youth's ideas, concerns and hope for the future. 

We are looking forward to planting at school, surveying the local bird species and hosting the next partnership YELP session at our school in Term 3.
