SCIENCE WEEK
The national Science Week theme for 2023 was Innovation: Powering future industries.
Students in Reception to Year 6 participated in science lessons incorporating the theme. Some students coded the first letter of their name in a binary code bracelet, some students danced with a digital human on the live CSIRO “incursion”, some observed chicks hatching, others innovated the traditional paper plane and finally some constructed and tested a solar car (when the weather permitted!). We had a great week innovating (making changes to an existing invention)!

Bandicoot Kids Visit Coro Kindy
Students from the Year 6 bandicoot group along with Mrs Todd visited the Coromandel Valley Kindy during Week 4 and Week 5 to share their puppet show about how the group started and what children can do to help save the Southern Brown Bandicoot. We hope to hear from others about sightings and to inspire young environmental scientists to help care for our environment.
