YOUTH ENVIRONMENTAL LEADERSHIP GROUP (YELP)
Youth Environmental Leadership Group visits Craigburn Primary School
The Term 3 YELP meeting (Youth Environmental Leadership Program), facilitated by Green Adelaide was hosted by Craigburn Primary School on Wednesday 30 August.
Students Jacob, James, Zara, Bianca, Lucas, Dylan, Molly, Alice and Connor (who are our Coro bandicoot group) attended the day to continue planning their project and learnt about soil analysis. They observed native bird species and created model specimens in their natural habitat.
Thank you to Ms Morgan and parent volunteers Helen and Tae for assisting on the day.

Have you looked up and noticed anything new?
James from fauNature visited on Tuesday 29 August to install 7 nature style boxes (possum and bird) around the school. I wonder if you saw James on his tall ladder? Can you spot all 7 of them?
Mrs Todd and Keith were very happy to see rainbow lorikeets, Adelaide Rosella’s and galah’s hanging around the various boxes, just one day after installation!
