Coromandel Valley PS recently attended the Orienteering School Championships, in which 27 of our Year 4, 5, and 6 students competed.

The event was held in picturesque Bonython Park with the River Torrens running through the middle of the courses. It was a rainy day but that did little to dampen our spirits.

Students have been learning about orienteering in PE and this was a good chance to put their knowledge and skills to the test. Our school finished a respectable 2^nd in the primary school category.

All our participants should be congratulated on doing a great job!

• Harry – 5^th for 12-year-old boys.
• Sebastian – 9^th for 10-year-old boys.
• Mila – 10^th for 10-year-old girls.
• Jake – 11^th for 11-year-old boys.
• Pariya – 12^th for 10-year-old girls.
• Julian – 12^th for 10-year-old boys.
• Nathan – 15^th for 11-year-old boys.
• Ella – 17^th for 11-year old girls.
• Shravenn – 20^th for 11-year-old boys.
• Leila - 21^st for 11-year old girls.
• Imogen – 28^th for 11-year old girls.

The following students did well, but mispunched, so didn’t receive a placing:

• Jaxon D, Oliver M, Corby W, Darcy G, Emily O, Connor P, Archer W and Michael Z.
